This is a shocking statistic if true. Kids rarely abuse pseudoephedrine cough medicines (easier to take pills of that, and pseudoephedrine pills are sold as decongestants), so this would mean 1 in 11 kids has done DXM. I do wonder about the reliability of this survey? Good surveys would control for lying by asking "which specific brands"? Real DXMers would know at least not to take a brand that only has guaifenesin, etc. They might be dumb and take CCC, but would quickly realize a guaifenesin only syrup just gave no buzz.
