i am aware that alcohol is a drug. alcohol tends to be far more toxic, dangerous, and abused than a large number of illegal drugs.

methamphetamine, racemic amphetamine, fentanyl, oxy/hydro/codone/morphone etc are all schedule 2 and alcohol kills way more people each year than all of those combined
