I don't think she's enzyme deficient; she tried a low dose of DXM once and wasn't overwhelmed or anything, she just didn't like it. Of course she could just be more sensible to DXM, but she wasn't feeling anything more than absent-minded when she accidentally overshot.
I am also fully aware of the possibility that what she felt could have been placebo effect, because she would probably need a pretty big sip to feel anything.
