Default Racemethorphan
Racemethorphan is the racemic mixture of both dextromethorphan and its enantiomer levomethorphan. In such a mixture, the opioid effects of levomethorphan would be far stronger than the effects of dextomethorphan. In addition, they are both metabolized by the same enzymes so DXM would intensify and prolong the effects of levomethorphan. [1]
