D-M, why did you remove the (PCP) part from the title? In a small wiki like this it's easier when you have the acronym in the title because not everyone immediately recognizes the chemical names for things. Also what's with all the links to pages that aren't written yet? Some should be written, yes. But I feel others like "formaldehyde" aren't really that relevant to the DV wiki.

Because when you crosslink articles in the wiki, in order to link to phencyclidine, you'd be forced to type {wiki=Phencyclidine (PCP)}Phencyclidine{/wiki}. Instead, if it is possible, we should merely create a page for PCP with a #REDIRECT to Phencyclidine. I am merely trying to set up the skeleton of the wiki to be similar and function as similar to Wikipedia as this is most effective.

And formaldehyde is a legitimate article as does end up in people's drugs. The links to unwritten articles are good starting places for people reading rather then them wondering what they should start with.

I still think all the red links disrupt the readability of the article, but whatever. I don't know if we should be aiming to copy Wikipedia in every single way, but that's just my opinion.

I think we should try to aim toward having original content (as I tried to do with the article I wrote about Salvia, most stuff on it isn't found on wikipedia or anywhere and is unique to dv)

I completely agree with that, but I guess we should come up with some informal set of guidelines as to how we format the articles so we're all on the same pages. As for the links, I thought they nicely broke up the plain black text. But to each his own, of course. Let's just aim to have one set of formatting.

As for originality, I agree fully with jd.

Yes, I agree with originality. I know the NMDA receptor article needs rewriting because it's pretty much copypasta from Wikipedia, but I just put it there as a place holder until I got around to improving it. I should get on that.
