Pseudoephedrine Linked To Heart Attack

An ingredient found in some popular cold medications could increase your risk of heart attack or stroke, even in a young, healthy person.

Over-the-counter cold remedies like Sudafed, Robitussin DM and other decongestants contain pseudoephedrine.

A 32-year-old man recently became the fifth person to be treated for chest pain and other cardiac symptoms after taking the recommended dose of a decongestant.

Pseudoephedrine is similar to ephedrine, which was recently banned by the Food and Drug Administration because of similar side effects.

If people are having these side effects on the recommended dose....imagine what a hypermedical dose, like one needed to trip on a DXM product containing this, can do.

DXM only !!!
